Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is conferred upon parishioners after proper preparation, usually in the spring of 10th grade. Our Confirmation program begins in Grade 9 and includes classroom instruction on basic Catholic theology and morality. Preparation continues in Grade 10, where the classroom focus is on finding and taking responsibility for one’s role in the Catholic community. Retreats, service projects, and weekly participation in Sunday liturgy are important components of both years, and the entire program is infused with principles of Ignatian spirituality.

Parishioners who attend Catholic schools are encouraged to attend both years of preparation to engage with their peers in our parish community, but they are only required to attend the second year for their preparation for Confirmation.

Confirmation classes meet on a biweekly basis during one of two sessions:

Sunday, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sunday, 6:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
